Steven C. Wright
Mr. Wright has over 40 years of experience in all phases and types of construction and development. He has the distinction of providing trial testimony on numerous occasions in multiple states, helping to defend general contractors, developers, subcontractors and owners. Mr. Wright also acts as a neutral expert and building referee, holds many industry certifications, and holds active General Contractor licenses in numerous states throughout the nation. With almost 25 years in the construction defect arena, Mr. Wright has proven himself as a leading general contractor and cost of repair expert and has earned a reputation as a results-oriented consultant.

Kim V. Wright
Ms. Wright joined SC Wright Construction Inc. in 1993. Since that time, she has been responsible for the management of the financial side of the business including billing, collections, human resources, and operating budgets. Prior to joining the firm, she was the founder and Director of Standards of Excellence, a wholesale distributor of high-end plumbing fixtures, appliances and architectural hardware in San Diego for eight years until it was sold. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution Engineering from Texas A&M University and has served terms as a Board Member for San Diego Habitat for Humanity and as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of her church, among other volunteer positions.

Matthew L. Sams
Mr. Sams joined SC Wright Construction Inc. in 2003 and has two decades combined experience in the construction forensic industry. He has a proven ability to lead a forensic investigation with a strong analytical approach and a determinate goal toward resolution. Mr. Sams has provided deposition/trial testimony on numerous occasions defending general contractors, developers, subcontractors and owners, and holds active General Contractor licenses in California and Montana. Mr. Sams has actively worked in the construction industry since 1977.

Tracie L. Maxwell
Ms. Maxwell, as part of our corporate executive team, brings a combined total of 28 years expertise in property management, business management and forensic construction defect case management. Ms. Maxwell has been with SC Wright Construction, Inc. since 2003. Currently, Ms. Maxwell’s role includes responsibility for consulting project management, daily operations, business development, training of technical administrators and project managers, as well as ensuring that existing workflow systems are dynamic, valuable and cost-effective for the benefit of both our clients and our company.

Michael J. Maxwell
Mr. Maxwell holds an active General Building Contractor’s license in the State of California. For the past 25 years, Mr. Maxwell has been active in the forensic construction industry, including residential, commercial, institutional, and hospitality industries and is frequently requested to participate in construction matters that include construction defect litigation, personal injury, ADA Compliance, and wrongful death matters. Mr. Maxwell has the privilege of providing deposition/trial testimony on numerous occasions, defending general contractors, developers, subcontractors and owners.
Mr. Jayne, having over ten years’ experience in managing projects and employees, brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the construction, real estate and land development industries. With his innate ability to think outside the box, Mr. Jayne provides a unique perspective on all aspects of a project from safety measures and quality control methods, to managing subcontractor crews and schedules. In addition, Mr. Jayne currently holds a CA Contractor’s License and a CA Realtor’s License.
Ms. Forte has a combined 10 years of progressive administrative and operations experience in a philanthropic organization and in a civil engineering and land surveying firm. As a team-oriented individual who has worked effectively with all levels of leaders in an organization, Ms. Forte provides technical administrative support to the expert and executive teams.

Human Resources / Safety Manager
Jim Gallagher-Barker, PHR
Mr. Gallagher-Barker has been involved in the insurance defense and forensic construction industry for more than 18 years. His experience in human resources, safety training, and all aspects of accounting comes from thirty years of progressively responsible positions in the legal, construction, and architectural fields. Since 2004, Mr. Gallagher-Barker has provided HR, safety and accounting management support to the expert and executive teams.
Accounts Receivable Billing Administrator
Ms. Elias joined S.C. Wright Construction, Inc.’s estimating department in 1998 with a strong background in executive-level administrative support and quickly discovered her affinity for billing and accounts receivable practices, transferring to the firm’s Accounting Department with continued growth and development in all facets of the accounting department. Currently, Ms. Elias coordinates billing to ensure accurate invoicing that complies with customer guidelines and policies. A native San Diegan, she attended San Diego State University, and in May 2017 graduated with Honors from the University of San Diego's ABA-Approved Paralegal Program.
